Our Programmes
SICAP Programme
SICAP is the new Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme. It aims to tackle poverty, social exclusion and long-term unemployment through local engagement and partnership between disadvantaged individuals, community organisations and public sector agencies.
Rural Development Programme
The focus of the LEADER Programme (2014-2020) is “To promote social inclusion, poverty reduction and economic development in rural areas”.
The Rural Social Scheme
The Rural Social Scheme aims to provide income support for farmers who are in receipt of long-term social welfare payments, and to provide certain services of benefit to rural communities.
TÚS
The TÚS Programme provides work placements for people who are long term unemployed and on the live register. The placements are with community and voluntary groups. We work with local voluntary groups to arrange work placements that are suitable to participant’s experience and skills, and help participants to improve their job readiness.
Testimonial:
“I just wanted to express my gratitude to you all for the help you gave me and for all the wonderful times I had while working as a participant on the TUS Programme” -John Bruton, Kildare-
