Facilitation Skills Training – Naas

County Kildare Leader Partnership in Partnership with Kildare Volunteer Centre Are Working Together to Establish a Kildare Volunteer Facilitators Panel in County Kildare.

Once established, Local Community Groups & Organisations supporting Social Inclusion in Co. Kildare will be able to apply to the Facilitator’s Panel managed by Kildare Volunteer Centre for facilitation supports.

Panel members will be required to have undergone a minimum of 20 hours Facilitation Skills Training prior to joining the Panel.

To Support this Initiative County Kildare LEADER Partnership are offering an opportunity to engage in a  20 hours Facilitation Skills Training Programme for 15 individuals committed to joining the Kildare Volunteer Facilitators Panel and committed to providing between 10 and 15 hours volunteer facilitation over the following year.

In  order to qualify for the facilitation training programme candidates must have knowledge of facilitation and at least basic experience of group facilitation.

To obtain an Expression of Interest,  those interested must first register with Kildare Volunteer Centre – See attached Flyer.

Finding Your Feet Programme – Teach Dara – Kildare Town

The Final day of the ‘Finding Your Feet’ Personal Development course took place on the 5th July 2018.

11 people completed the course with a very informative presentation from the Citizens Information Centre.

Located in Teach Dara, Kildare Town, the course included: Personal Development, First Aid, Healthy food Made
Easy, Career Guidance and Manual Handling and was delivered over 6 weeks (3 x mornings per week).

Well done to everybody on receiving their Certificates!!
