Parents wellbeing!

An exciting new positive messaging campaign for parents has been launched in Co. Kildare this week!

The goal of the campaign is to boost parents’ wellbeing and alleviate the common feelings of guilt, self-doubt, anxiety and stress experienced by many parents at one time or another.

The key campaign messages are:

  • “It’s okay not be perfect and it’s okay to ask for help.”
  • “Make time with your child to hear their stories from the day.”
  • “The way we talk to our children becomes their inner voice.”
  • “Look after yourself as a parent. Be kind to yourself. Keep healthy in mind and body. You’re doing a great job!”

The outdoor advertising element of the campaign has been launched this week, so please keep an eye out for the messages in the shopping areas in Naas, Clane & Kildare Town!

The online campaign will be launched next week (10th December) on Facebook & Instagram!

The campaign was developed by an inter-agency group in response to the findings of the Parenting Research commissioned by Kildare CYPSC & the Parenting Forum last year. Group members are: Kildare Youth Services, Co. Kildare LEADER Partnership, Kildare Children and Young People’s Services Committee, the HSE and Kildare County Childcare Committee. The campaign is funded by Kildare CYPSC and the HSE Mental Health Division.

We would like to invite you to upload the campaign images to your organisation’s website and social media platform using the link below. Please free to share on personal social media sites also if you wish.
