A new group of 14 participants started recently on the Enterprise Skills Programme (ESP) with CKLP – a specialised Community Employment (CE) Scheme which provides a 14 week start your own business course in Kildare town. This self-employment starter programme is intended for those with a clear business idea who need to gain the skills and knowledge around starting their own business. Unfortunately the main content of their course was delayed with Covid-19; however, we are delighted to say they will be commencing training sessions online in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, they have been busy – some have been developing their computer skills with the ECDL course online and some have been putting their skills to good use. Edele O’Connell has generously made numerous face masks the local community, which I think you will agree are vibrant bright colours and fun and Amanda McNamara has been sharing Yoga sessions & tips online.
