If you’re employed and living or working in the Athy or Clane / Maynooth Municipal Districts in County Kildare, you are eligible to participate in a series of introductory Green Economy Professional Development Courses, fully funded under the EU Just Transition Fund.
Delivered by ifac’s sustainability experts, these practical, work-based modules, will help you contribute to the development of a green economy while enhancing your personal and professional skillset.
The courses are designed for practical, work-based learning which support your employer in reducing costs, measuring carbon, and building credibility, while also providing a gateway to further professional development in this increasingly in-demand area.
Each hybrid course is delivered over 1.5 days, offering upskilling in the areas of:
✅ Sustainable Green Organisations – reducing costs and embedding sustainability across operations.
✅Sustainable Supply Chain Procurement – building greener, more resilient supplier networks.
✅Circular Economy in the Workplace – unlocking innovation and resource efficiency.
✅Sustainability Governance for Staff – green office practices and behavioural changes.
✅Sustainability Governance for Staff & Managers – embedding ESG leadership and compliance.
✅Regenerative Farming Practices – applying low-carbon, resource-efficient techniques on farms.
For employed participants in Just Transition Fund regions only – South Kildare (Athy MD) and North Kildare (Clane / Maynooth MD).
