The first Enterprise Skills Programme (ESP) for 2022 is planned to start on Monday 24th January.

At the moment, delivery is planned to be primarily online, we will of course aim to bring participants in for training sessions wherever possible, restrictions allowing.

The Enterprise Skills Programme is a Community Employment (CE) Programme for those eligible with a clear business idea business, to participant in specific training focused on starting their own business, for 19.5 hours a week, over 14 weeks (standard CE rates apply).

  • The programme will run two mornings per week (generally Tuesday & Wednesday) with some weeks having a full day training on Tuesdays.  They will also have 1:2:1 mentoring sessions with myself.

  • Participants will complete the Level 5 in Marketing Practice & receive QQI certification on completion

  • The programme will be delivered primarily online, including all group training sessions and most of the 1:2:1 sessions.  Therefore, applicants will ideally have some basic IT skills, use of a laptop & access to decent wifi coverage.

  • If restrictions allow, training session and/or 1:2:1 sessions may be held in person (in the CKLP premises in Naas) or some smaller group sessions, all subject to covid-19 guidelines.
