County Kildare Leader Partnership is seeking applications from suitably qualified persons for the following post.

Mental Health, Wellbeing and Resilience Coordinator

We are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity for a dynamic self-starter who wants to make a difference in the lives of men.

The Coordinator will be responsible for responding to the mental health needs of men in different initiatives in the county overseen by our suicide prevention project Heads Up Kildare.

Heads Up Kildare is an interagency project (managed by Kildare Leader Partnership and funded by the Health Service Executive and local agencies) developed to provide a coordinated response to men who are in distress because of employment issues, varied life challenges and mental health difficulties.

The Coordinator will also be responsible for a rural outreach to men funded by Healthy Ireland in the North West of the County and a collaborative piece with the Newbridge Family Resource Centre to engage and support men.

This position is a twelve month contract (35 hours per week).
