Strategy for Rural Development and LEADER in Co. Kildare 2023-2027.

Community Led Local Development

The purpose of the consultation is to promote the active participation of the local community in identifying the challenges and opportunities for the local area and reflect on the themes and subthemes of the 2023-2027 LEADER programme.

We want to know how we can work together to build stronger, better connected, more resilient and prosperous rural communities.

The new LEADER programme will support Sustainable Rural Development. Local Communities across the County will have access to funding for projects that support Economic Development, Social Inclusion and Climate Change Mitigation or Adaptation.

The formation of the strategy for the LEADER Programme 2023 – 2027 involves extensive public consultation, including a series of public meetings around the county.
