Our National Bike Week returns from Saturday 19th – Sunday 27th of September.

Bike Week is an annual celebration and promotion of all that’s great about bikes and cycling. Held over an extended week each year, with   bike themed events organised by local authorities, community groups and cycling groups throughout Ireland. In a year which has been   dominated by COVID-19, health and wellbeing has become even more important than ever with more and more people taking to their bikes   for commuting and leisure activity purposes. Not only is cycling healthy for our own wellbeing but it is also healthy for the planet, helping to   reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Cycling helps you stay fit and healthy and you also play your part in tackling climate change.

We hope to bring you as many activities as possible this year, within public health guidelines – from free bike checks, fun cycles, lunchtime city rides, heritage cycles, electric bike races, school cycle events, road races and much more. Cycling has much to offer people of every age and ability. Get on your bike and join the fun at this year’s Bike Week, on you own or as part of an organised activity.
