Following the Government’s request this week for the closure of a range of all non-essential services and the further restriction of social interaction County Kildare LEADER Partnership services will continue to be provided remotely by email and phone contact until 20th April 2020. All programmes managed by County Kildare LEADER Partnership: SICAP, LEADER, the DARA Project, Enterprise Skills CE Scheme, Ability Programme, Asylum and Migrant Integration Fund, Roma Employment Project, Older Voices Kildare and Heads Up continue to operate as fully as possible across the county. Other programmes hosted by the Company: Kildare Sports Partnership, Kildare PPN and the Regional Drug and Alcohol Task Force are also continuing to operate and support local communities across the county.

Due to the extended closure of community facilities Tus and Rural Social Scheme participants have been withdrawn and will remain employed by County Kildare LEADER Partnership and available for work when the current restrictions come to an end.

County Kildare LEADER Partnership is committed to maintaining business continuity and to supporting the community response to COVID 19 in County Kildare. As a county based organisation we are prepared to provide our staff and collective resources to support organisations already working with the most vulnerable and to assist also where community supports may not yet be in place.

We also join in encouraging everyone to stay safe and follow the HSE public health guidelines.
