Social Enterprise Network Coffee Morning in McAuley Place, held Tuesday 31st May

The Social Enterprise Network coffee morning, that was held in McAuley Place in Naas, on Tuesday 31st May, was a very successful morning with 18 participants attending from 11 organisations across Co. Kildare.

Guest speakers included, Grainne Cassidy from the Department of Social Protection, who provided very useful information on employment supports and Michelle Casey from the Kildare Volunteer Centre who spoke about volunteering and recruiting volunteers in County Kildare.

Mary Minogue and Brian Kelly spoke about the new Social Enterprise Awareness and Promotion Programme for Kildare due to start in Autumn 2022 and also on upcoming financial supports for social enterprise.

Refreshments were provided by McAuley Place and the Old Hardware, Narraghmore.

Date for the diary for Kildare Social Enterprises is 27th September in County Kildare LEADER Partnership new head office in Kildare Town – a special Kildare Social Enterprise expo event to map your social enterprise – all Kildare Social Enterprises will be invited and welcome.
