Thursday, March 9th at 7p.m.
This webinar will look at the impact of child and adolescent anxiety on children and parents. It will highlight some of the pitfalls for parents when trying to support their anxious child. Ideas for new strategies to support your child will be presented. Information on further resources will be made available. There will be an opportunity for parents to bring questions to the session.
Thursday, March 23rd at 7p.m.
An increasing number of parents are reporting high levels of conflict with their child or teenager. Some also report experiences of aggression, property damage and violence. In this webinar, a model to deal with conflict with your child will be presented. This is for parents who are looking to end the fighting in the family home, to strengthen their relationship with their child and to respond more effectively to challenging behaviour.
These talks will be facilitated by Tara Kelly, Project Leader in Springboard, a family support Project based in Loughlinstown. Tara works extensively using the NVR (Non Violent Resistance) and SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) programmes. The talks will be followed by a short Q&A.
Places can be booked through Eventbrite by clicking on the blue links above.
