December to Remember

December to Remember was a 4 week programme aimed at managing Christmas on a budget.

It included 2 weeks of cookery focusing  on clever use of leftovers, and 2 weeks of crafting, where we created handmade gifts such as decorated candles, frame pictures and Christmas Gonks.

The programme was really well attended, and everyone who took part remarked  that it was great fun and full of useful ideas and tips.

The December to Remember was a collaboration between a number of projects in County Kildare LEADER Partnership. It was a joint effort by SICAP Employment Support Worker Theresa Kelly,  Healthy Food Made Easy, Anne Marie O’Toole,  and Caroline and Susan from Older Voices Kildare, the programme also included some attendees from KARE.

The Christmas cheer was infectious and even Theresa wore both a Christmas jumper and t-shirt!!!

A wonderful way to celebrate the Christmas season.
