Charity Shops in Communities in Kildare
To mark #SecondHandSeptember the Kildare PPN have put together a list of all the charity shops they find in County Kildare.
Charity shops are a great way of saving good quality items from going to landfill helping to contribute to a more circular economy.
With the fashion industry being responsible for 8% of carbon emissions” (UN Environment, 2019) and ‘Textile production contributing more to climate change than international aviation and shipping combined” (House of Common Environmental Audit Committee, 2019) charity shops are a fantastic way to shop more sustainably and help reduce our carbon footprint.
