Panel of Trainers 2024-2027

CKLP exists to advance social, economic, and cultural inclusion in County Kildare. We do this by supporting and empowering individuals and communities, to progress towards reaching their potential with a specific focus on those who are vulnerable and impacted by social exclusion,  and by working in partnership with all stakeholders in the County.

Our Vision is an equal, fair, and inclusive County Kildare, where all can flourish and realise their full potential.

County Kildare LEADER Partnership is seeking suitable and skilled trainers for their Panel of Trainers to be available to deliver training/support to beneficiaries of the Social Inclusion Community Activation Programme (SICAP) in 2024 to 2028, Sláintecare Healthy Communities Programme, HEADSUP Kildare, Older Voices Kildare, The Dara Project, and various other CKLP Programmes, from time to time.

We welcome expressions of interest from suitably qualified candidates whose skills cover these areas and any others not listed below which may support our programme delivery.

Below is a list of areas covered by trainers on our previous panel, this list is indicative but by no means exhaustive.

  • Smart Tech – using smartphones, downloading apps, installing/uninstalling, social media apps.

  • Digital Marketing

  • Basic Computer Training – email, attachments, Microsoft Office package, online activities – setting up accounts ( mygov.ie, revenue, jobs Ireland)

·       Tax / Revenue workshops

Requirements:

  • Curriculum Vitae.

  • A copy of the Qualification certificate where necessary and appropriate.

  • Evidence of previous experience.

  • Programme content.

  • Applications should include tender proposal, tender price and value for money.

  • Certificate of tax clearance.

  • Professional Indemnity Insurance.

Selection Criteria will be based on:

  • Evidence of a teaching/training qualification from a recognised independent authority (e.g. QQI, HEA or equivalent City and Guilds), or an appropriate industry body.

  • For unaccredited courses, a CV outlining relevant experience and knowledge of course subject matter.

  • An understanding of the needs and training requirements of SICAP target groups, and an ability to show empathy in this training environment,

  • Previous experience in the provision of training to SICAP target groups.

Appointments to Panel of Trainers:

Appointments to the Panel of Trainers will be based on documentation received and/or interviews.

 

County Kildare LEADER Partnership CLG is not obliged to accept any applications, nor does membership of the panel guarantee work.

County Kildare LEADER Partnership remuneration rates for Trainers align with the tutor rates of KWETB.
