This page provides information, resources, supports and practical tips for caregivers, Ukrainian parents and young people in Ireland.

Ukraine Parenting

Ukraine Parenting was set up by the Parenting for Lifelong Health Team at the University of Oxford, in collaboration with the World Health Organisation (WHO), the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and other international agencies. It provides evidence-based parenting tips to support families impacted by the crisis in Ukraine. The tips are in English, Ukrainian and Russian. For more information, see here.

Citizens Information – Support for Ukrainians in Ireland

This website provides a list of organisations that are helping people who have come to Ireland from Ukraine. The organisations listed here provide services across the whole country. Many local groups and charities provide help also. You can also find information on parenting supports, education and childcare supports, looking for work, healthcare, transport and opening a bank account. For more information, see here.

Children and Young People Services Committees Ukrainian Support

Children and Young People Service Committee (CYPSC) are responsible for securing better outcomes for children and young people in their local area through effective integration of existing services and interventions. This website provides a Ukrainian cultural guide for Irish people, childcare information and child protection and welfare. Resources are available in English, Ukrainian and Russian. UNICEF – Online Ukrainian resources and activities for children

As a host to a new family or as a family who has newly arrived in Ireland, below are useful Ukrainian resources that will help distract and comfort children during this distressing time.
