Southwest Region Drug and Alcohol Task Force (SWRDATF) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. We collect information about individuals when they use our website and our services. This privacy statement describes how we collect, use and disclose data.

Please read the following carefully to understand our use of personal data. The policy relates only to living individuals and personal data relating directly to themselves and not to persons in any other capacity.

SWRDATF collects personally identifiable information, such as your name and email address when asked to register. SWRDATF also collects anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as your age, gender, preferences, interests and favorites.

There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by SWRDATF. This information can include your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. The information is used by SWRDATF for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service and to provide general statistics regarding the use of the SWRDATF website.

Please keep in mind that if you disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through SWRDATF public message boards, this information may be collected and used by others.

SWRDATF does not use or disclose sensitive personal information such as race, religion or political affiliations without your explicit consent.

SWRDATF reserves the right to take photographs at various events pertaining to the business. These photographs will be used by SWRDATF in the course of the business and service.  A notice will be displayed at the event when a photographer is present. It is your responsibility to read this notice. SWRDATF does not engage photographers who use facial recognition software.

SWRDATF websites will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such is necessary to (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on SWRDATF or the website; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of SWRDATF; and (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety or users of SWRDATF or the public.

SWRDATF secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. SWRDATF secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. If there is a need to send any information over the internet it is protected through the use of encryption.

You are entitled to view, amend or delete the personal information that we hold.

SWRDATF will occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect company and customer feedback. SWRDATF encourages you to periodically review this policy to be informed of how SWRDATF is protecting your information.
